The Huntsville Area Chapter of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College presented the Spelman College Jazz Ensemble on Sunday, March 8th at the Marriott Hotel in support of the Dr. Bessie Washington Jones Scholarship Fund.
These ladies, with the direction of Joe Jennings, prove the fact that jazz isn’t a man’s world after all! These young ladies have toured throughout the United States and have played with Jazz greats such as Wynton Marsalis, Nancy Wilson and a host of others.
